The HTC Ruby, a phone that’s been rumoured for some time now, has been photographed in all its glory during a public event in Thailand. The Ruby is said to have a 4.3″ qHD screen, much like the Sensation but has beefier specs. Firstly the CPU is allegedly a dual core affair running at 1.5GHz, a step up from the Sensation’s 1.2, as well as having 1GB of RAM, another increase over the Sensation’s 768MB. It should also have 16GB of flash storage and should run Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.5. Rather surprisingly Sense is missing for the most part from the most recent shots. Read on after the break.
Ok, so it isn’t the HTC Sensation per se, but rather it’s American T-Mobile cousin, the HTC Sensation 4G. Now, HTC and T-Mobile both said the Sensation 4G would be in stores by summer, but if one had to search for Sensation 4G on Google, he or she would probably see the above.
Did Google just rat out on of its own? Will the Sensation 4G REALLY be out on the 8th of June? We hope so.
Another day has dawned, and a rumor has managed to rise above the mists and into our waiting hands. According to anonymous sources, HTC is working on a 1.2GHz dual-core, 4.3″ beast that will work on T-Mobile’s 3G network. The resolution promises to be qHD, meaning 960×540 like Motorola’s Atrix 4G. What else do we know? Apparently, its code name is the HTC Pyramid, and should be released sometime between May and June.
