Just a few days after information about the Vigor surfaced we have two photos of the device. Rumours have pegged this, first and foremost, as HTC’s first Beats Audio device, a product of their latest partnership with Beats by Dr Dre. Secondly? This device is rumoured to have that 720p display we’ve all been hearing about, 1GB or RAM, 1.5GHz Dual Core and Sense 3.5 running on top of Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. Here’s our first post on the Vigor, and there’s one more picture after the break.
The design is nice, not the best out there, and most definitely heading to Verizon. The back seems to be rubberized and we can clearly see two speakers round the back for noise cancellation as well as a larger speaker for general audio and music use. One can also find a dual LED flash coupled with what seems to be an 8MP snapper.
Up front the display dominates much of the facade, HTC’s trademark speaker grille and a front-facing camera. The four capacitve buttons round the bottom kill the rumour that this is going to be an Ice Cream Sandwich device, and according to a leaked Verizon roadmap we should see this launch early this November, on the 5th.
